THEMATIC SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
We invite authors of scientific papers in the fields of civil and environmental engineering, architecture, and urban planning. The detailed scope of the Conference concerns:
- reconstruction and renovation of historic buildings, durability of buildings, and structures
- innovative technologies for the construction and operation of buildings in industrial, hydro-technical, municipal, and transport infrastructure in the context of environmental protection
- materials engineering, building physics, construction issues, BIM, and organization and management of investments in sustainable construction
- architecture, urban planning, and spatial planning in the context of the idea of sustainable development
The organizers invite researchers, designers, contractors, architectural and construction administration, construction supervision employees, and companies promoting modern technologies and products in the field of construction to participate in the Conference.
Companies from the construction industry interested in presentations of their offer during the Conference are invited to contact the Organizing Committee directly.

GUIDELINES FOR THE AUTHORS
Positively reviewed and accepted by the Scientific Committee, full-text papers will be published in the Conference monograph by Springer or Inżynieria i Budownictwo – the prestigious journal for the Polish construction industry engineers from PACET. Authors may choose a preferred publication form when sending abstracts. The final form of the publication depends on the decision of the Scientific Committee. The abstracts for preliminary evaluation by the Scientific Committee should be written in English according to the template (provided on https://ecce.po.edu.pl/) and sent by November 28, 2025, to the e-mail of the ECCE 2026 organizers (ecce@po.edu.pl).
Guidelines for the full-text papers will be sent by the Scientific Committee along with the information on the acceptance of the abstract.
CONFERENCE FEE
The conference fee until January 30, 2026:
- participant of the Conference – 615 Euros or 2100 PLN + VAT
- members of the Scientific Committee, young scientists (up to 35 years old), young members of PACET (up to 35 years old) – 560 Euros or 1900 PLN + VAT
The conference fee after January 30, 2026:
- participant of the Conference – 670 Euros or 2300 PLN + VAT
- members of the Scientific Committee, young scientists (up to 35 years old), young members of PACET (up to 35 years old) – 585 Euros or 2000 PLN + VAT
Submitting a second accepted paper – 120 Euros or 400 PLN + VAT
The conference fee includes a welcome reception, two lunches, a gala dinner, coffee breaks between sessions, a book of abstracts, and a guided tour of Opole or a technical trip in the Opole region.
Additional information:
- The organizers do not cover the travel and accommodation costs.
- The organizers offer accommodation at the Mercury Hotel Opole at negotiated, more favorable rates for Conference participants. In this case, the participants must indicate their participation in the Conference when contacting the Hotel directly, and prepayment by an agreed-upon date may be required.
- In case of resignation from participation in the Conference up to two weeks before its commencement, participation costs may be reimbursed up to 50% of the payment made. In the case of resignation from participation in less than two weeks, the participation costs will not be reimbursed.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE CONFERENCE FEE FOR THE AUTHORS
One conference fee covers participation in the event with one accepted paper, its presentation, and publication of its extended abstract in the Conference Book. The papers can be presented as multimedia presentations or posters depending on the decision of the Scientific Committee. The conference fee also covers publication of the accepted papers in the reviewed Conference monograph by Springer. The conference fee does not cover additional costs optionally required by PACET for publication in Inżynieria i Budownictwo.
